We offer programming across 3 campuses - Los Angeles, New York, and online - along with special programs & collaborations with renowned institutions such as the USC School of Cinematic Arts Film School & NYU Tisch Grad Film School.

Office Manager
Overview
Reporting to the President, you’re responsible for making all elements of our operations in Los Angeles run smoothly and efficiently.
Whether that’s executing the logistical details for our daily classes and special events or supporting our marketing campaigns, you take ownership of getting the job done with pride.
This role touches all the processes that make our Los Angeles campus successful - program delivery, operations, and marketing. You are the only on-the-ground point of contact for our internal team, instructor community, paying members, and the broader community as well.
Your day runs the full spectrum of tasks. Everything from coordinating and hosting an onsite event, taking inventory and restocking supplies, and giving a tour to potential renters of our versatile office space. You love the variety that comes with everything on your to-do list.

Fast Facts
- Time Commitment: Full-time 40 hours per week; Wednesday to Sunday, 8:30am to 5:00pm Pacific Time; Hours may be adjusted occasionally to accommodate the program schedule.
- Compensation: $50,000 annually (gross)
- Location: Los Angeles, CA (Fairfax District); This position is fully in person in our local office, not remote, hybrid, or work from home.
- Status: You will be an employee and must be authorized to legally work in the United States
- Benefits: Health insurance stipend after 3 months, paid PTO, paid sick time
Responsibilities
Program Delivery (45%)
- Manage all aspects of program delivery by ensuring sufficient coverage & resources are available (i.e. staff, instructors, class assistants, equipment, rooms, swag, and anything else we need) so that every class is delivered flawlessly and each participant has an exceptional experience.
- Take the lead to ensure our programs are successful. This could be online or onsite classroom setup, paying invoices, greeting instructors, securing readers at the last minute, or notifying a class that it has been rescheduled.
- Supervise & guide part-time staff in Los Angeles, New York, and online by taking ownership of the smooth transition from day to evening classes, troubleshooting, providing clear instructions, and always being a reliable point of contact.
- Deliver orientation, welcome, and wrap up messages for special programs & events.
- Become intimately familiar with the studio's program calendar, enrollment goals, instructor profiles, and other details needed to anticipate issues and execute flawlessly.
- Be calm, composed, and logical when handling escalations pre/during/post program delivery. Remind and uphold company policies in challenging situations.
- Collect program evaluations, review, analyze, and summarize the trends to share with the broader team. Take the lead on implementing changes while staying focused on continuous improvement.
- Continuously build the roster of reliable instructors & volunteers to support program delivery. Regularly engage with office visitors, members, and program participants to invite the best ones to be an extended member of our team.
Marketing Support (45%)
- Support the Marketing Manager to execute on campaigns to engage our audience & identify potential members & partners
- Draft, schedule, & monitor email newsletters to keep our member community engaged and inspired to sign up for our next program or offer.
- Lead local community and outreach efforts to build relationships and form mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Capture footage for marketing content by using a smartphone to record snippets of a class in progress (shhhh!), interview participants, gather testimonials, and generally find creative ways to share the energy in the room with our broader community.
- Take a keen interest in our targets by ensuring that all marketing roads lead to new member acquisition, program sign-ups, & other revenue-generating outcomes. You love using targets to create a sense of urgency month after month.
- Participate in new member enrollment by promoting upcoming events and programs to members when attending events and reviewing new member applications.
- Coordinate & host events to showcase the value of being a member by delivering packaged presentations & opening remarks, socializing with attendees, answering questions, and generally representing the company well.
- Lead office tours for potential renters to support securing additional revenue for the company.
Facilities Management (10%)
- Work with vendors to maintain facilities and always ensure a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming office environment and online infrastructure.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, submit orders, receive deliveries, and restock shelves.
- Maintain a clean and tidy office environment by picking up, wiping, or putting away anything when you see it needs to be done. You’re not above taking care of simple maintenance yourself.
Teamwork
- Get to know us & let us get to know you by proactively building relationships with everyone on the team.
- Integrate with and learn from the operations and success in the New York office.
- Learn the ins & outs of the business… that’s everything from sales to program delivery to customer service & everything in between. You understand the overall workflow and use that to get your job done.
- Support the team members on other related projects as requested and as our community and programming grow and evolve.

- You have 2-4 years of experience in customer service, training coordination, hospitality, administration, or other related fields with a diverse team.
- You share our commitment to help our members build successful careers and take control of their professional lives.
- You aim to get it right, but when needed you easily own up to mistakes, tell the truth, and do the right thing, even if no one is watching.
- You hold yourself accountable and live up to a standard of professionalism that guides all of your work.
- You’re a strong communicator. Whether it’s written or verbally, you strike a healthy balance between being honest, clear, and considering how your words & tone will make someone else feel.
- You’re discerning, savvy, and know how to connect with people. We’re talking actors, talent agents, managers, and creatives from all walks of life. There’s no such thing as a stranger in your world.
- Detail, details, details! You know the details matter and you’d never dream of sending something out that doesn’t look just right. Typos & off brand ideas are a no-no.
- You enjoy a good laugh and like to have fun with the people you work with.
- Experience in or exposure to the television, film, and/or theater industries in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, or New Mexico is an asset, but not required.
- You don’t want to build your own acting career. This is not a gig to make entertainment industry connections and build your own resume.
